What is the ideal shampoo for hair loss sufferers?

What to look for in a shampoo
If you want to fight hair loss and help your hair grow you want a shampoo that contains ingredients that improve circulation in the scalp, such as niacin. You also need a shampoo that cleanses your scalp well, otherwise pores may become blocked, leading to hair loss — ingredients like salicylic acid help with this. Finally, you should look for ingredients that reduce DHT in your scalp because DHT causes hair loss. These are the primary three concerns. After that you can start to look for shampoos containing nutrients that help feed your hair or energize cells in the scalp.

What to avoid in a shampoo
You need a shampoo that cleanses your scalp well, but you should avoid shampoos with harsh chemicals like “sodium lauryl sulfate” — this is like a bleach, which after years of use may cause hair follicle miniaturization and may also be toxic if absorbed through your skin (though in small doses is safe). See organic shampoos that don’t contain sodium lauryl sulfate for more information.

My review of hair loss shampoos — what is the best shampoo for hair loss prevention and hair growth promotion?
I’ve listed above some of the best hair loss shampoos available. Where I’ve listed the benefits and drawbacks for each shampoo I have listed ALL the benefits and ALL the drawbacks (as far as I can see). So if there’s only one benefit, there’s only one benefit — likewise with the drawbacks. If you want me to look at any other shampoos, let me know in the comments.

Conclusion: What is the ideal shampoo for hair loss sufferers?
The first and foremost requirement of a Best shampoo for hair growth is that it cleans your hair and scalp, helping to keep your pores clear. If you’ve read my hair loss eBook you’ll know how to keep your pores clear of embedded sebum — in this case your best bet is to use a gentle shampoo, as you have the most powerful method of keeping your pores clear.

The second most important requirement is that your shampoo contains no harsh chemicals that may cause your hairs to miniaturize or break with continued regular use (like bleaching does). Try to avoid shampoos containing sodium lauryl sulfate if possible.

Now, if you’re looking for a shampoo that helps promote hair growth the best way of achieving this is to increase circulation in the scalp. You should be getting the nutrients required for hair growth through diet. Improved circulation in the scalp will help get those nutrients to your hair.

If you want to try to boost direct nutrient intake in the scalp using your shampoo, choose a shampoo that contains biotin, cysteine and proteins. However, unless your scalp is free of embedded sebum these nutrients are unlikely to penetrate the scalp — some shampoos get around this by using ‘copper peptides’ (tiny particles) that are thought to help nutrients penetrate the skin. These are not likely to help people with permanently shiny scalps though — you will need to use my method to solve this problem.

DS Laboratories Revita High Performance Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo

In my opinion the best two shampoos out there are DS Laboratories Revita Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo and Perfect Hair Shampoo. DS Labs Revita shampoo ticks almost all the boxes. However, it’s very expensive. If $25 is a bit excessive (which it probably is for most people), you’re probably better off going for a natural or even organic shampoo that is isn’t specifically labelled as a hair loss shampoo. The problem with a lot of hair loss shampoos is they contain ingredients that may help promote hair growth, but to save money they’ve used cheap toxic base ingredients.

So if you’re not prepared to pay for the DS Labs Revita shampoo or Perfect Hair Shampoo, you’re probably better off looking for an organic shampoo. But be careful; just because it says it’s organic doesn’t mean it doesn’t contain toxic ingredients. Even the ‘mop organic shampoos’ contain sodium lauryl sulfate.

Truths About Health Insurance

Truths About Health Insurance

I'm convinced that having health insurance doesn't do anything to improve one's health and I would like to help you see the truths about your health issues. Health Insurance is just a financial instrument that may or may not pay for your health needs, and the Affordable Care Act is all about forcing Americans to buy health insurance policies. I have always contended that most people don't really understand the fine print or the purpose of having health insurance. Remember when the ACA was declared a "success" by the Democrat politicians during the first year of its existence?
\
They talked constantly that they were providing this great solution to your health needs. But what did they provide for American's health? The answer is; nothing! Your choices are between, paying an IRS penalty, or purchasing one of three categories of policies offered by health insurance companies because of the ACA. I consider the IRS penalties for not purchasing a policy to be unconstitutional. Then, if you think you will save money by purchasing the least expensive health insurance policy, think again. If you unexpectedly have health issues during the year, you may find yourself having to pay up to $10,000 as a deductible before the insurance company is obligated to pay their first dollar toward your health costs.

If you are looking through newspapers, or listening to TV or radio programs for any positive news about health insurance to dispute what I write about health insurance companies, you will only find articles about how many policies have been sold. If you look closely in the middle of newspaper sections, and at the bottom of newspaper pages, you may find additional information about health issues. For instance, one day recently I found an article about the government filing a lawsuit against AIDS healthcare companies for scamming Medicare and Medicaid. As a result, the federal government is trying to recover 20 million dollars they paid out for fraudulent claims to these AIDS groups. It stands to reason that other health care providers are also scamming the health system, but that's what we can expect from government-run programs.

Back to individual ACA issues, I strongly feel that when people use their coverage and experience the higher co-pays, reduced doctor options, uncovered medical procedures, longer wait times and more, there will be fewer happy insurance policies owners. Then as time passes people will experience even higher premiums, fewer covered procedures, higher co-pays, fewer doctor options, and government subsidies reduced or disappearing completely.

What to Look For in Home Health Care

What to Look For in Home Health Care
In between full-time hospitalization and a healthy lifestyle lies an unfortunate middle ground known as home health care. Some people have conditions that are not so severe as to require constant care through hospitalization, but are serious enough that the patient needs regular attention from a trained professional. Should a family member need attention of this frequency, your daily commitments and lack of medical training may make it impossible for you to provide your loved one with the care they need. In this instance, you will need the help of a home health care service.

Hiring an in-home medical professional is not a decision people make many times in their lives. The subject matter is difficult enough that actually weighing the merits of different companies (especially companies that will be responsible for your loved one's well-being) could feel overwhelming. What you need are a few simple points of comparison that will help guide you through the process.

Variety in Staff

Chronic disease is extremely difficult to predict. People recover at random, get worse without warning, and develop new symptoms with frequency. In order to provide your family member with care that will adapt along with their needs, you'll require a company with a wide variety of trained staff members. Any company worth hiring should offer most of the following: specialized nurses, dieticians, physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and religious consultants. These various staff members will be able to provide aid at every step of your loved one's treatment and recovery. Regardless of what twists and turns their illness takes, you will be able to rest easy knowing that you've provided them with solutions to whatever arises.

Variety in Service

As with the need for variety in staff, you may not be fully aware of all the treatment options your loved one will need when they first enter into home health care. While a strong variety in staff will aid in quality of life and recovery, ultimately a medical professional will need to be regularly treating each new symptom as it develops. Some of the services you should look for include: wound management, radiology services, physical therapy, social work services, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, post-surgery care, cardiovascular rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, pain management, urology management, and rehabilitation nursing. Talk to your family member's doctors about the types of care they'll anticipate becoming necessary, and compare it to the list of services provided by the company in question.

Do They Take Your Insurance

It's an obvious point, but one worth stating. Medical care in a form, particularly long-term care is extremely expensive. You need to make absolutely certain that the company you choose will work with whatever forms of medical compensation your loved one is able to access.

It is perfectly natural to feel overwhelmed by this sort of decision. You are trying to look objectively at a situation absolutely fraught with emotion. Try to strip away the people involved and itemize the quality of the business itself, and the commitment they have to their clients. This way you'll be able to make the best decision for your family member without compromising your emotional strength.

Importance of Medical Office Assistant certification for career development

Medical Office Assistants are very important in any given medical set up. How many of you even know about these professionals? And for those who know them, how many of you give them the credit for a well operational health facility? Many do not do this at all. This is because the role they play is neither known nor appreciated by those not in the medical field. Only those who directly interact with them on a day to day basis know their pivotal importance.
One of the key roles that the Medical Office Assistants do play is the administrative role. There is a lot of paper work that needs to be done in a hospital or any health set up. Some of these include registration of new patients and compiling them. Sourcing for the medical records of patients is yet another role that the Medical Office Assistants will help in together with preparation of medical bills. It is the Medical Office Assistant that will receive phone calls at the reception as well as giving direction to patients. In case there are any refunds to be done, or an insurance issue to be followed up, this is the role of a medical office assistant. A Medical Office Assistant is the one responsible for replying general hospital emails, faxes and other forms of mails. Let all the other technical members of staff concentrate on medical service delivery as the Medical Office Assistants do the administrative work.
The doctor, nurse, laboratory assistant, pharmacists… need someone to link them. The doctor will waste a lot of valuable time if he is the one to prepare the medical records of a patient. The nurse needs to concentrate on nursing patients rather than spending some minutes to forward the documents for medical examination from the doctor to the lab and the vice versa. In likewise manner, the laboratory technician will lose concentration if he is made to do this work. For everybody to concentrate in their work, medical office assistants play the link’s role.
Physicians, medical facilities, nursing homes and hospitals among other like manner institutions are the ones that employ these professionals. They come in to help in the transcription of treatment notes, updating of the medical histories, overseeing office inventories together with medical supplies, arrange for the hospitalization and transfer of patients among others. When there is need for some appointments to be scheduled, this is the responsibility of the Medical Office Assistants because they understand the program of the physician.
During their training, some of the things Medical Office Assistants are taught include, office accounting, medical transcription, healthcare coding, application software of medical office procedures, medical law & ethics, medical terminology, interpersonal & communication skills, basic anatomy and physiology… Medical Office Assistants can therefore fit in almost all the roles in a health facility.

Health Care Schools

When most people think about health care, they picture doctors and nurses. In reality, however, there is much more to health care services than this. Health care schools all over the country train people in a wide variety of skills. From physicians and nurses to health care administrators, healthcare careers have room for just about anyone. And although there are job opportunities for a doctors, you do not have to be a doctor to be in demand. I knew none of this until a few years ago. I had worked as an administrator in a mid-level company for many years. It was an alright job, but there was very little opportunity for advancement. When the company finally went bankrupt, I had mixed feelings.

I was scared about not knowing what I was going to do to make a living, but I was excited to be finally getting out of that job. After several months on unemployment, however, things were looking bleak. After seeing an ad on daytime TV, I decided to check out a health care school. Although I was skeptical of the ads claims, the idea that health care schools can get me working in the medical fields within six months was quite appealing. As it turns out, it was true. Almost as soon as I enrolled in health care schools, the job calls started coming. Many people do not think of the health insurance companies as part of health care, but in reality they are one of the most important parts.ear nose throat specialists

Going to health care schools actually trained me to be a health care manager. If medicine is about doctors and nurses, it is just as much about healthcare managers. We use the skills we learned in health care schools to make important decisions about coverage. The doctors submit forms to us, and we decide whether the patients need a particular treatment. Without health care schools, we would not have the necessary know how.
